[edit] The Word Bubble
The Word bubble will be a place to rest, eat and network with others. It will contain a kitchen, a rest area with chill music, a media center with computers on a LAN with wireless access and a first aid area to treat the injured. The Hub should be kept free of stray noise from soundsystems. It is intended as a rest area and should be free of disturbance. This page contains a brief introduction to each aspect of the Hub with links off to more in-depth pages.
[edit] KITCHEN
There will be a community kitchen at Teknival, and it will be located in the Hub. Acces to cooking equipment will be there. Planned dishes will also be prepared by participants.

[edit] First Aid
The First Aid Station will be located in the Hub. Ideally, there should be one trained person at the station at all times. A roving foot patrol of 1 or 2 people with walkie talkies could call in incidents to the first aid station would help grealy in facilitating the safety of the entire site. First aid supplies will be present and anyone intereste in learning about the medic's art is encouraged to come by.

There will be a computer network set up at Northtek with all sorts of information available to view and take home. Written words, software, graphics, music, videos and all forms of media will be available and a limited number of CDs and DVDs will be present to make copies.

[edit] Chill Area
The Chill area will consist of a small sound system, a structure like a small wickiup, dome, yurt or tent to relax in, and some nice art. We may have art supplies, books to write and draw in, or any number of other unknown goodies
